Staying Hydrated

If you read just one article today, make it this one!

We’ve all heard it before: we need to drink more water. In modern life, we’re so busy, rushing around trying to do hundreds of things at once, and forgetting most of what we should and need to be doing. Our own health is often sacrificed at the expense of meeting deadlines, tying up loose ends and pleasing others. We stop listening to our bodies and eventually start to ignore what it is telling us.

Look, staying hydrated is important. Really important. If we’re not getting enough fluid into our bodies, we can suffer from headaches, fatigue, dizziness and low blood pressure. It can leave us feeling groggy, fuzzy headed and short tempered, kind of like a bear with a sore head as the phrase goes.

When was the last time you had a drink of water? Do your body a favour and grab a glass after finishing this article.

So what does this have to do with lube I hear you ask?

Another side effect of dehydration is dry skin. If our bodies aren’t quenched and hydrated enough, our skin can feel uncomfortable, itchy and sore, making everyday life more inconvenient and irritating. If your skin isn’t hydrated enough on your arms, legs or chest, it goes without saying that down there will also be suffering from dryness and dehydration.

Even if you’ve noticed any of these symptoms and started to pour Mother Nature’s elixir of life down your throat, it’s still going to take a while before things are tickety boo again.

Lubricants like LuvLoob help to moisten your delicate areas and gently hydrate and moisturize the skin, making things feel less abrasive due to vaginal dryness and the friction of intercourse. As well as using water to hydrate you from the inside out, LuvLoob helps you to hydrate from the outside in. It’s always a good idea to use a moisturizing lubricant during your sexual adventures, but even more so if you are feeling dryness or discomfort during sex.

Be kind to your body and take notice of the signs. Our own health should be one of our primary concerns, so make sure you’re keeping hydrated, both above and below the waist!
